The Eo is made of wood, shaped like tiger, the backbone
of which is a line of 27 serrations.
The player strikes the tiger's head three times with a split bamboo brush
and then scrapes in along the backbone to bring to an end passages of
music at the Confucian and Ancestral Shrines.
